Why is it that when it rains, it pours!? We had one of THOSE weeks and to add to it our dryer broke! Here’s our takeaway from it all.
Having 8 older brothers we never thought our only girl would be the first with a broken bone! It was a trying experience but some wonderful lessons were learned.
I didn’t love feeling those things, heaven knows I was praying for them to hurry up, I am glad that he was able to help me connect to my C-sections in a deeper way.
We are not ones to argue, with anyone, but this was our biggest argument that spanned over about a year. it’s from Jacob’s perspective and the lessons he learned from it.
Taking a look back to a very memorable Black Friday, but not for happy reasons. and when you have a bad day early on, there’s no where to go but up!
We had other times when we wondered how we could manage with another baby but none so intense as after our second child.

It is our true friends that bring fullness to our lives. They rejoice with us in good times, share our burdens in bad times, and help us to become better each day.
Cassanda sat me down and said something like this, “Jacob, I’m not going to make it. I can’t do this anymore, I really need more help from you.” I thought for a second and responded, “Cassanda, I would love to help more, but I have absolutely nothing left.”
